The “Videogames and Education” series of workshops are an initiative carried out in collaboration between the social organizations Faro Digital, Fundav (Argentine Videogames Foundation), and the Esbrina research group (University of Barcelona).

February 5th, Friday — “Videogames, culture, development, and disciplines”

Interactive dissertation and collective construction of knowledge through trivia on the different disciplines of video game development and the different stages of creation, production and polishing of a video game. From the moderation of the lecturer, it is proposed to stimulate different experiences with the aim of achieving an approach to the development of video games, through the analysis, understanding and critique of this worldwide phenomenon.

February 12, Friday — “Healthy and responsible use of video games”

Interactive dissertation and collective construction of knowledge through trivia on the different modalities of monetization, subscription, video game recommendations and rating codes. From the moderation of the lecturer, it is proposed to stimulate different experiences with the aim of achieving an approach to video games and its responsible and healthy use, through the analysis, understanding and critique of this worldwide phenomenon.

February 19, Friday — “Videogames in learning spaces”
