This booklet contains an introductory text and a selection of long-form communications presented at the conference “Imagining possible worlds: Potentials, limits and frictions of speculative fiction in research and education”, held at the Disseny Hub de Barcelona (DHUB) on 19 and 20 January 2023 and organised by the Esbrina Research Group – Subjectivities, visualities and contemporary educational environments and the Cosicosa Association. The conference was organised in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Education of the University of Barcelona, Disseny Hub Barcelona and the Barcelona City Council.
