Another Roadmap School

The Another Roadmap School aims to provide open spaces for trans-regional ex- change and learning in Arts Education as an engaged practice commited to social change. It is based on an international network involving professionals situ- ated at universities as well as in museums, cultural institutions, educational centres and grass-roots-organisations in 18 cities on 4 continents. During three years (pilot phase), working groups in the Another Roadmap school will carry out practice and research projects, contribute to a trans-regional Arts Education glossary and share their results in the form of “Learning Units”, publications and a travelling exhibition. Joining experiences in Arts Educa- tion as a socially commited practice and organizing collaborative knowledge production between different geopolitical contexts, the school will contribute to advance engaged practices of arts education in a global context.
